Part-Time Busser / Dishwasher Seabury at Pomperaug Woods - Southbury, CT Looking for a great part-time job with flexible evening hours? Join our Food & Beverage team and help create an exceptional dining experience for the residents who call Seabury at Pomperaug Woods home. We are seeking a Part-Time Busser who is friendly, dependable, and enjoys working in a hospitality-focused environment. This role primarily supports our dining room service and will occasionally assist with dishwashing coverage as needed. Schedule • Friday and Saturday • 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM • 6 hours per week What You'll Do • Clear and reset dining tables during and after meal service. • Assist servers by refilling beverages and delivering requested items. • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining rooms, service stations, and wait areas. • Transport dishes, glassware, and utensils to designated dishwashing areas. • Assist with food delivery to ensure timely and excellent service. • Support residents by helping with walkers and other dining room needs when appropriate. • Provide occasional dishwashing coverage, including washing, sanitizing, and storing dishes, pots, and utensils. • Complete assigned cleaning and sanitation tasks. • Follow all food safety and workplace safety standards. • Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and guests. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift. • Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally assist with heavier kitchen items as needed. • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and push/pull carts safely throughout the shift.
