Job Description - Assistant Manager - EHS Position: Assistant Manager - EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Grade: Tier 1 → M1-A Experience: 6-10 Years Location: Project Site (India/Overseas) Key Responsibilities Implement and monitor Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) management systems at project sites. Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, client, and company HSE requirements. Conduct risk assessments, HIRA, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and develop mitigation measures. Lead safety inspections, audits, walkthroughs, and compliance reviews. Conduct incident/accident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions. Administer Permit to Work (PTW) systems and ensure adherence to safety procedures. Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, awareness programs, and training sessions. Monitor contractor safety performance and compliance with EHS standards. Ensure proper usage of PPE and implementation of safe work practices. Develop emergency preparedness plans and conduct mock drills. Maintain EHS records, reports, statistics, and regulatory documentation. Support environmental compliance related to waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives.
