A Day in the life of a Manufacturing Manager in the Commercial Electronics team consists of executing day-to-day operations by leading our hourly workforce and being available to be the first level of elevation for the team. The Manufacturing Manager is 100% responsible for product flow to meet and exceed both our internal and external customers’ needs. The ideal leader will know how to bring out the best in our employees while helping navigate difficult times.
Manufacturing Manager Key Responsibilities:
• People Management: Own and take pride in being a "People Manager" to unlock untapped potential within the team for mutual business and team success.
• Operational Oversight: Ensure all employees operate safely and adhere strictly to established work instructions.
• Professional Development: Drive individual and collective growth through essential mentoring and coaching, ensuring the team understands the "why," the overarching strategy, and the vision.
• Strategic Communication: Provide clear work direction to the team and manage critical communications, including shift hand-offs with Operation Leaders and status updates/commits to Customers, Program Managers, and Product Center Leaders.
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
