The RN provides comprehensive nursing care, collaborates with surgeons and clinical staff, and helps maintain a safe, organized operating room environment. Key Responsibilities • Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in condition. • Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures. • Prepare the operating room and ensure necessary instruments and supplies are available. • Operate C-arm/fluoroscopy equipment under the surgeon’s guidance. • Develop and implement patient care plans and communicate effectively with the surgical team. • Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols. • Evaluate patient responses and report concerns to the appropriate providers. Qualifications Required • Associate degree in Nursing or equivalent qualifying education. • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. • Current BLS certification. • At least 3 years of operating room nursing experience. • Strong patient assessment, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. Preferred • Ambulatory surgery center or pain management experience. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). • Certified Post-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN). • Experience with C-arm/fluoroscopy equipment.
