What You'll Do: • Assisting veterinarians with examinations and treatments • Safely handling and restraining dogs and cats • Drawing blood and collecting laboratory samples • Running in house diagnostic testing • Preparing and administering medications and vaccines under veterinarian direction • Taking and assisting with digital radiographs • Preparing patients for surgery and assisting with procedures • Monitoring anesthesia and patient vital signs • Providing post-operative and hospitalized patient care • Maintaining accurate medical records • Educating and communicating with clients • Helping keep treatment areas organized, stocked, and ready for patient care Who We're Looking For: • We're looking for someone who already has hands on veterinary hospital experience and is comfortable working in a clinical environment. Our ideal candidate is: • Experienced in veterinary patient care • Friendly and compassionate with clients and patients • Reliable and able to work well as part of a team • Comfortable in a busy hospital environment • Detail-oriented and able to communicate effectively • Interested in continuing to learn and develop their veterinary skills • Both part time and full time positions are available.
