About Lokal Matrimony Lokal Matrimony is a hyperlocal matrimony platform focused on helping people discover compatible life partners based on their preferences, community, and regional connections. Our mission is to make partner search more relevant, convenient, and accessible through a compatibility-first approach that helps users find meaningful relationships. We are looking for a creative, audience-focused Senior Video Content Creator / Creative Strategist who can bring the Lokal Matrimony experience to life through engaging UGC videos, relatable storytelling, product explainers, and high-performing video ads. The role will focus on developing creative strategies, producing compelling content for male and female audiences, building trust, communicating the product’s value, and driving engagement and app installs through platforms such as Meta and Google. Role Overview: We’re looking for a Senior Video Content Creator / Creative Strategist to lead creative ideation, scriptwriting, and video content development for Lokal Matrimony. The role requires strong content strategy, storytelling, on-camera presentation, audience research, and performance marketing expertise, with the ability to translate audience insights and product features into compelling UGC videos, promotional reels, and high-converting ad creatives. The ideal candidate should be comfortable leading content creation, experimenting with creative variations, analyzing campaign performance, and optimizing content to improve engagement and conversions. Key Responsibilities • Develop content strategies and write high-converting scripts for UGC videos, product explainers, informative reels, and promotional video ads for Lokal Matrimony. • Create multiple hooks, concepts, scripts, and creative variations for Meta and Google/YouTube Ads targeting both male and female audiences. • Lead on-camera content creation and deliver engaging, relatable, and persuasive presentations. • Develop creative concepts that communicate Lokal Matrimony’s value proposition, product features, and compatibility-first partner search experience. • Research audience preferences, consumer behavior, regional trends, and competitor campaigns to identify content opportunities. • Collaborate with videographers and marketing teams on video shoots, production, editing, and creative execution. • Analyze creative performance using metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, conversions, and app installs to identify opportunities for improvement. • Work closely with the Performance Marketing team to develop and test creatives for different audience segments and campaign objectives. • Optimize scripts, hooks, messaging, and video formats based on campaign results and audience insights. • Stay updated on UGC trends, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and emerging digital advertising formats to drive creative innovation and campaign performance. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. • 2–4 years of experience in video content creation, creative strategy, scriptwriting, performance marketing creatives, or a related role. • Strong Hindi and English communication and scriptwriting skills. Kannada or other regional languages are an advantage. • Proven experience developing video creatives for Meta and Google/YouTube Ads. • Strong storytelling, content strategy, audience research, and creative ideation skills. • Excellent on-camera communication and presentation skills. • Understanding of UGC videos, product explainers, promotional reels, and performance-driven advertising content. • Ability to analyze creative performance metrics and use insights to improve content effectiveness. • Familiarity with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools is preferred. • Strong creative judgment, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Experience working with consumer apps, D2C brands, digital marketing, or performance marketing teams is an advantage. Preferred Candidate Profile • Comfortable leading on-camera content creation and developing creator-led video concepts. • Able to independently develop creative strategies, scripts, and multiple ad variations. • Understands how to balance engaging storytelling with performance marketing objectives. • Uses data and audience insights to refine creative concepts and improve campaign outcomes. • Interested in matrimony platforms, relationships, consumer apps, and audience-focused storytelling.
