All our group homes are in the Bloomington, MN area. We currently are looking for Direct Support Professionals to work with our residents at several of our Bloomington homes. We have various full and part time positions available. Starting Salary: $17.00-$18.00 hourly, depending on location. Benefits: Eligible 1st of the month after 60 days employment. Health insurance (ICHRA), Dental, Vision, Company Paid Life/LTD. 401k-eligible after 90 days employment. Must be scheduled 30+ hours per week to be benefits-eligible. What do Connections Direct Support Professionals do? DSPs provide a variety of services to our residents, and duties vary from program to program, but may include (but are not limited to): • Providing care giver services to our residents, including personal cares when appropriate and necessary • Teaching and maintaining skills • Cooking, meal preparation, and feeding assistance • Providing support with hobbies, studies, and social activities • Participating in the development of Individual Program Plans • Medication administration • Participating in fun recreational activities with residents! Minimum Qualifications: • 18 years of age or older • Valid US driver's license • Basic computer skills • Experience working with individuals with autism • Ability to lift 30-50 lbs on a regular basis • Willingness to do personal cares for residents, including bathing, toileting, dressing, administering medications, and lifts. Pay Frequency: Biweekly Connections Services LLC uses E-Verify Connections Services, LLC will conduct a Minnesota Department of Human Services Background Study on all new employees. Employees in driving positions will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle Background check. Continued employment will be contingent on a cleared background study and a satisfactory MVR.
