Full description

If you're the type of person who notices when something is out of place, enjoys staying organized, and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly, this could be the opportunity for you. At Singleton Construction, our projects move fast. Materials arrive daily, schedules constantly evolve, and dozens of moving parts must come together at the right time to keep a project on track. That's where our Receiving Coordinators make a difference. As a Receiving Coordinator, you'll be the hub of jobsite inventory and material management, making sure every delivery is accounted for, organized, protected, and available when the project team needs it. You'll work closely with Superintendents, Project Managers, vendors, and delivery drivers to ensure materials don't become a roadblock to project success. This isn't a traditional warehouse role. You'll be part of an active construction project, helping support the team through inventory coordination, documentation, delivery management, and administrative support. Why Singleton? Singleton Construction delivers nationwide retail and commercial construction programs for some of America's most recognized brands. Our clients trust us because we build strong relationships, communicate openly, and consistently deliver results. As a Receiving Coordinator, you'll play a critical role in project execution. When deliveries are tracked, inventory is organized, and materials are available when crews need them, projects stay on schedule and clients stay happy. You'll work alongside experienced construction professionals while building valuable skills in project coordination, logistics, inventory management, and operations. No two projects are exactly alike, giving you the opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact every day. Whether you come from construction, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, or another fast-paced environment, you'll have the chance to build a rewarding career with a team that values organization, accountability, and teamwork. What You'll Be Doing As a Receiving Coordinator, you'll support on-site operations by managing deliveries, maintaining inventory accuracy, and helping ensure materials are available when needed throughout the project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include: • Receiving and inventorying all project materials and fixtures. • Inspecting deliveries for shortages, damages, and discrepancies. • Documenting and reporting damaged or missing materials. • Organizing and protecting materials stored on-site. • Maintaining accurate inventory logs and material trackers. • Coordinating deliveries with vendors and the Superintendent. • Tracking material usage and inventory levels throughout the project. • Managing bills of lading, packing slips, and delivery documentation. • Updating inventory and material tracking systems. • Assisting the Superintendent with reporting, documentation, and administrative support. • Communicating material shortages, delays, and delivery issues promptly. • Maintaining clean, organized, and secure storage areas. • Supporting jobsite safety initiatives and company safety standards. • Assisting with additional project and administrative duties as needed. What Success Looks Like • Deliveries arrive and are properly documented. • Materials are organized, protected, and easy to locate. • Inventory records remain accurate and up to date. • The project team has the information they need to stay ahead of material shortages and schedule impacts. • Superintendents and Project Managers trust you to keep critical project resources organized, tracked, and available when needed. Requirements You'll likely have: • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Experience in receiving, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, project coordination, or related fields. • Willingness to work days, nights, and weekends as needed • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliveries simultaneously. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Experience maintaining records, tracking information, and staying organized. • Comfort working with spreadsheets, email, and online systems. • Ability to use smartphones or tablets for documentation and reporting. • Ability to work independently while supporting a larger team. • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Forklift certification preferred but not required. • OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required. Benefits Why You'll Love Working Here • Opportunity to travel and support projects across the country. • Work alongside experienced construction and project management professionals. • Be part of exciting retail and commercial construction projects. • Gain valuable experience in logistics, inventory management, and project coordination. • Career growth opportunities within a growing company. • Collaborative team environment that values your contributions. • Competitive compensation and benefits package. • Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) benefits. • Travel support and lodging provided when required for projects.
