Registered Nurse (RN) Job Details This position involves working in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit with a focus on providing high-quality patient care during night shifts. The role requires a commitment to patient management and telemetry monitoring. Unit Information • Unit Type: Telemetry • Number of Beds: 32 • Patient Ratios: 1:4-6 Shift Information • Shift Length: 12 hours • Shift Hours: 7 PM – 7 AM • Weekend Requirement: Based on unit needs and demands • Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays Qualifications • Experience: Minimum of 1 year required, with telemetry experience preferred • Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, and a valid Washington or Compact license Responsibilities • Assessing and monitoring patient conditions, including reading and documenting telemetry strips • Titrating drips including Heparin, Blood, and IV fluids as necessary • Collaborating with charge nurses and house supervisors as needed • Floating within the scope of practice as required Additional Information • Support Staff: Nurse aids available with ratios of 1:8-16 • Equipment: Telemetry capabilities on 16 beds • Orientation: Specific orientation will be coordinated during the onboarding process (1-2 shifts) • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy top and bottom Join our dedicated team where your skills and expertise will make a significant impact on patient care.
