Position Details • Location: San Antonio, TX • Unit: Physical Therapy • Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM • Assignment Length: 13 weeks • Weekend Requirements: 2 shifts per month • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week • Call Requirements: To be discussed during the interview Qualifications Minimum Requirements: • 2+ years of inpatient rehabilitation and/or hospital experience • Active OT License (temporary licenses not accepted) Preferred Skills: • 2-3 years of experience in rehabilitation and/or acute hospital settings • Bilingual in English and Spanish • NDT or brain injury certifications Role Responsibilities The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive evaluations and treatments for neuro and orthopedic patients within an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Specific duties include: • Performing assessments to determine patient needs • Creating individualized treatment plans • Implementing therapeutic interventions to promote recovery • Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes Dress Code and Conduct • Scrub Colors: Sage green/olive scrub top, black scrub pants, sage green scrub jacket.
