We are seeking a caring and dependable Home Care Assistant (CNA) to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality in-home care services that help residents remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home. What You'll Do • Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living according to individualized care plans. • Deliver home care services under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. • Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team. • Assist with mobility, transfers, safety monitoring, and companionship. • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with company, regulatory, and insurance requirements. • Promote resident dignity, comfort, and quality of life through compassionate care. Qualifications Education • High school diploma or GED required. Experience • One (1) year of experience preferred. Licensure & Certifications • Current North Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. • Current listing in good standing with no substantiated findings on the State Nurse Aide Registry. • Completion of all required in-services and competency evaluations. Additional Requirements • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Ability to successfully complete competency testing as required for in-home aide duties. • Maintain at least 12 hours of documented in-service education annually. • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance strongly preferred. • Ability to meet EveryAge's auto insurance requirements for coverage.
