Description Kimberton Whole Foods is seeking two part-time Produce Stockers to join the crew at our newest location in Eagleview! Availability: Part-time, approximately 24 hours per week. One weekend & one closing shift are required each week. Schedule 1: Sunday 10am-6:30pm, Monday 10am-6:30pm, Wednesday 7am-3:30pm Schedule 2: Tuesday 7am-3:30pm, Friday 8am-4:30pm, Saturday 12-8:30pm Hourly Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older. Benefits: Part-time team members are eligible for a 15% store discount after 60 days and a 401K with matching 3% after one year and 1000 hours worked. Produce Stocker's Primary Responsibilities: • Provide exceptional customer service to all. • Receiving and stocking all incoming fresh produce and related items. • Rotating fresh produce on a first-in first-out basis. • Working in collaboration with the Produce Department head to maintain accurate and up-to-date product signage throughout the entire department. • Follows the established KWF SOP for maintaining abundant, dynamic and fresh displays throughout the entire department. • Understands KWF inventory management practices. Requirements PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: • Full sense range (vision, hearing and sense of smell) – the ability to read product labels, distinguish color & smell for quality control as well as the ability to communicate with the customers and co-workers. • Lifting, gripping and carrying objects – up to 50-75 pounds frequently, including boxes, cans, tools and other products. • Stooping, squatting, & kneeling – stoop and maneuver to pick up boxes from shelving and carts. • Walking – short distances to bring items from miscellaneous areas. • Standing- prolonged standing. • Work environment – movement based with the majority of time being in motion (walking & standing) rather that sedentary (sitting). • Climate – ability to work in cold environments (cooler, Freezer, back stock area) and handle cold products for extended periods of time on a regular basis.
