PRIDESTAFF is currently seeking a skilled Assembler for a manufacturing company located in Elmhurst, IL. This role would include hands-on assembly ranging from simple to moderately complex, as well as packaging and labeling of products. 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm $16-$18 per hour DOE This is a TEMP-TO-HIRE position! • Insurance available • Weekly paycheck • Consistent schedule plus OT JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Build, test, calibrate components and/or assemblies to meet tolerances and product specifications • Use hand and power tools to build products to specifications • Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages • Clean parts to established procedures • Clock in/out of production software, claiming completed and scrap pieces • Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes according to established procedures • Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues • Place finished goods in the designated area • Maintain a clean and safe work area • Perform other functions as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • MUST be able to read blueprints and work orders to perform work as indicated • High school diploma or GED • One to two years experience in manufacturing/production setting • Ability to read, write and understand English • Ability to work with small, delicate components • Basic computer skills • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures • Must be Punctual and Reliable Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to submit an up-to-date resume for immediate consideration!
