Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Unit Information This Medical Surgical unit features: • Number of Beds: 36 • Number of Staff: 55 employees • Patient Ratios: 1:6 • Equipment: Baxter IV pumps, Medfusion pumps, SCDs • EMR System: Meditech Schedule Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Responsibilities • Provide care for post-operative patients • Maintain and manage drains • Deliver wound care and perform dressing changes Qualifications Required: • Current BLS certification Preferred: • Experience with post-operative patients • Competency in dressing changes, wound care, and drain management Ideal Candidate • A collaborative team player with a positive attitude • A strong advocate for patient needs • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Dress Code • Scrub Color: Navy Blue/White • No hoodies, pull-overs, or T-shirts allowed Awards and Recognition The unit is proud to hold top patient experience scores, measured through HCAHPS.
