Job Type: Contract to hire Location Requirements: All work is remote but candidate must reside in DC metro or Boston metro areas Rate: $40/hour Job Description: Client is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to join the talent team on a contract-to-hire basis. In this role, you'll partner closely with the recruiting team and hiring managers to build strong, diverse candidate pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles across the company. Responsibilities: • Proactively source and identify top talent for critical, high-priority roles using platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools • Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline of active and passive candidates • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements, team needs, and ideal candidate profiles • Conduct initial candidate outreach and craft compelling, personalized messaging to engage passive talent • Screen candidates for basic qualifications and fit before handing off to recruiters for technical/behavioral screens • Track sourcing activity, candidate pipeline health, and outreach metrics • Continuously research and apply sourcing best practices, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform strategy • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the ATS Qualifications: • Proven experience as a sourcer or recruiter, ideally supporting technical or specialized/critical roles • Strong hands-on experience with sourcing tools and platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, job boards, etc.) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft outreach that resonates with passive candidates • Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple open requisitions simultaneously • Experience working with an ATS to manage and track candidate pipelines • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment • Prior experience in a startup or scaling company environment is a plus FlexProfessionals respects and seeks to empower each individual and support the diverse cultures, perspectives, skills, and experiences of its candidate network.
