We're looking for a Development Team Lead to join an existing department and lead a development team, while staying closely involved in the technical process. You'll be responsible for: Leading a development team within the department, providing ongoing technical and professional guidance Reviewing and approving development specs/requirements before they move into development, acting as a technical gate to ensure feasibility and quality upfront Getting hands-on with code when needed – for complex problems, technical guidance, or unblocking the team – while your main focus remains leading the team and the technical process Conducting ongoing code reviews and ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices Mentoring team members and supporting their professional growth Taking part in the hiring process for new developers (interviewing and technical evaluation), alongside recruitment Collaborating with other development teams and stakeholders within the department
