Security Engineer Requirements: - 7+ years of Information Technology experience, including at least three years of information security experience. - Experience with Microsoft 365 Security, Azure, and on premises Active Directory. - Strong knowledge of PowerShell, Regular Expressions, software development, and DevSecOps practices. - Experience with penetration testing, network vulnerability assessments, risk profiling, and proactive risk mitigation. - Strong understanding of networking concepts, security incident response, forensics, troubleshooting, and security best practices. Security Engineer Responsibilities: - Design, implement, manage, and improve security systems including DLP, SIEM, UEBA, endpoint protection, and data security platforms. - Conduct security audits, threat assessments, vulnerability assessments, and risk evaluations while recommending improvements. - Develop security monitoring and visibility capabilities and provide technical leadership for incident detection, response, investigation, and forensics. - Analyze and report on security incidents, vulnerabilities, investigations, trends, and emerging threats. - Provide security support and training while participating in an on-call rotation for critical incidents and after-hours support.
