Job ID: 17326 Nature of Duties & Responsibilities • Perform a wide variety of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations by following blueprints, engineering drawings, diagrams, or verbal/written instructions. • Safely and skillfully operate hand tools, power tools (such as electric drivers), and material handling equipment. • Actively initiate and suggest process improvements to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety within your assigned work area. • Multitask and prioritize your workload effectively to meet strict production deadlines under supervisor guidance. • Perform in-process visual and mechanical testing using specialized devices to identify defects. Education & Experience Requirements • 2 – 5 years of related production, electro-mechanical assembly or technical experience. • Key practical experience with calibrated instruments such as calipers, torque wrenches, pressure and temperature gauges. • High school diploma required. Associate degree or technical degree preferred. • Ability to read, interpret, and understand engineering prints, schematics, and technical drawings. Physical Requirements & Work Schedule • Ability to stand for the duration of a shift (all day). • Ability to safely lift, carry, and push up to 40 pounds. • Availability to work a standard 40-hour work week, with the flexibility to work overtime (40+ hours) as needed to meet production goals.
