An established cardiac surgery team in Annapolis, Maryland, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive care for cardiac surgery patients across preoperative, postoperative, intensive care, and outpatient settings. Position Highlights: • Provide preoperative, perioperative, postoperative, and outpatient management of cardiac surgery patients • First assist in cardiac surgical procedures, including CABG, valve, and aortic surgeries • Perform ICU bedside procedures, including arterial and central line insertion • Perform endovascular vein harvesting and other minor surgical procedures within scope of practice • Evaluate patients, interpret diagnostic findings, and develop individualized treatment plans • Collaborate with cardiac surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to manage complex patient needs • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient satisfaction efforts • Share group call responsibilities, including nights and weekend • 24 hour coverage for our new Cardiac Surgery Program w/ call pay. • Rotating schedules • Full array of benefits including competitive compensation including Quality Incentive, including CME paid time-off and dollars plus PTO and so much more….
