Electrical Engineer - About the Opportunity Join an employee-owned, multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm recognized for its work in transportation, civil, environmental, mechanical, and electrical engineering. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across disciplines while delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for public sector clients. The Electrical Engineer will support planning, design, and construction services for building systems and municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects. What You'll Do • Conduct site visits and surveys to document existing conditions and evaluate equipment. • Design electrical systems for building and municipal infrastructure projects. • Develop power distribution models, load calculations, and equipment selections. • Prepare technical reports, drawings, specifications, and bid packages. • Support the design of power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, data, low-voltage, and building control systems. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to deliver projects. What We're Looking For • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis. • 5+ years of experience in facility design, including power distribution, low-voltage systems, building controls, or lighting. • Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites. Nice-to-Haves • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification. • Experience with SKM PowerTools, AGi32, or other lighting design software. • Experience with municipal water and wastewater infrastructure.
