Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (RN) Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department (ED). This is an excellent opportunity to join a team in a Trauma Level 4 setting, with a focus on acute care for patients in critical need. Key Responsibilities • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the emergency department. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans. • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. • Monitor patients’ conditions and respond to changes effectively. • Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans. Qualifications • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Emergency Department setting. • Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC are required. • NRP and ENPC certifications are preferred. • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), specifically Epic, is required. • Charge nurse experience is essential. • Preceptor experience is preferred. Work Environment The role requires flexibility to work on holidays and weekends as needed based on department demands.
