International Banking:Overseas - Finance and Accounting INTERNAL USAGE: No. of Vacancies:2Reports to: Is a Team leader?NoTeam Size:NA Grade: Business:International BankingDepartment:�Whole Sale Banking ProductsSub-Department:IBU, GIFT City Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat About IBU,GIFT City � IFSC Banking Unit (IBU), GIFT City is a deemed offshore Unit of the Bank and is treated at par with its other overseas branches. � IBU, GIFT City is primarily engaged in providing foreign currency denominated financial services/products to non-resident (both individuals, entities). It can also extend services to residents but only to the extent permitted as per FEMA regulations. � Axis Bank Ltd had set up the IBU in 2017 and it has since rapidly scaled up in terms of its market presence, balance sheet and products. It presently has corporate banking, trade, retail& wealth, treasury and capital market desks with an independent dealing room and operations team. Key Responsibilities Periodic reporting: � 1. Assets & Liabilities control; � 2. Applicable regulatory reporting; � 3. F&A Reports; � 4. SEZ related mandatory reports; � 5. Other internal reports from time to time Tax: � GST/IGST related matters, calculating applicable TDS/withholding taxes, Tax compliance � returns, Liaising with F & A, tax consultants Accounting: � 1. Expense registration and Booking; � 2. Maintaining Fixed Assets Depreciation Register and Booking; � 3. Tax provision calculation and booking. Reconciliation: � 1. Bank accounts reconciliation; � 2. Account Payable and Receivable reconciliation; � 3. Office accounts reconciliation Audit: Coordinate with External statutory Auditors and Internal stakeholder to finish the annual/Quarterly audit related matters HR: Coordination for monthly salary payments, Reimbursements etc. Key Relationships (Internal or External Stakeholders) � 1. Internal &External Audit; � 2. Tax Consultants; � 3. Regulator; • 4. SEZ and GIFT authority Role Proficiencies: • Go-getter with learning agility • Superior analytical and presentation skills • Ability to handle customer negotiations and work as part of multi-disciplinary teams • Proficiency in MS Power point & Excel • Must have a good understanding of Bookkeeping and regulatory compliances • Conversant with advanced Excel and MS office suite • Good verbal communication & Drafting skills
