We're now hiring Part-Time Dog Bathers for our busy Grooming Salon in Morristown! Schedule: Part-time position (up to 29 hours per week). Our salon operates Monday-Friday 7:00 AM-7:00 PM and Saturday-Sunday 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with shift start times between 7:00 AM-11:00 AM. Weekend and holiday availability is required. Pay: Starting rate is $16.50 - $18.00/hour, based on prior professional pet care experience. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in a career in dog grooming! What You'll Be Doing • Bathing, drying, and brushing dogs using company-provided professional tools and products • Cleaning ears, trimming nails, and brushing teeth • Monitoring dogs for safety throughout the grooming process • Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment • Collaborating with team members to ensure a positive experience for pets and their owners • Gathering information from pet owners and updating pet records Morris Animal Inn is proud to offer • Hands-on training—no professional grooming experience required • Potential to transition to a full-time position with comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401K with company match) based on performance and business needs • Career growth opportunities with a transparent advancement structure • Education Assistance Program to support professional development in pet care & grooming • Employee discounts on dog daycare and other services • A unique and innovative Rewards and Recognition program that celebrates staff contributions What We're Looking For • Experience and confidence handling dogs of all breeds and sizes, from the teacup type to the 'are you sure that's not a horse?' and everything in between. • Willingness to perform cleaning duties related to animal care • Work in a noisy environment around dog and cat dander, waste, and cleaning chemicals • Stand for extended periods, frequent bending and repetitive hand and arm motions with grooming tools • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to follow safety protocols, interact with pet owners, and maintain accurate records • Lift and restrain dogs up to 40 lbs on your own, with help for larger dogs • Weekend and some holiday availability is required Ready to join our team?
