## Standard Job Description * Plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. * Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production. * May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. * May negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage schedules for timely delivery. ## Basic Qualifications The preferred candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience along with corresponding SAP experience to effectively manage and execute the following: * Inventory * Warehousing * Shipping * Receiving * Work order control (for specific items) * Offload process * Material Requirements Planning (MRP) * Creating purchase requisitions * Ensuring the timley conversions from purchase requisition to purchase order ## Desired Skills The preferred candidate will also be responsible for effectively managing and executing the following: * Monitoring unrestricted hardware and/or frozen raw material to ensure forecasts are loaded accordingly and that shortages are proactively identified and worked (prior to any work stop situations) * Loading make commits into the SMCC database on a weekly basis * Leading all continuous improvement activities within the product center (tied specifically to Material Logistics) * Participating in 1LMX activities ## Interview Questions Accuracy and Attention to Detail Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Give me an example of a time you paid close attention to detail and how it helped you avoid a mistake.
