Position Summary Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant Float Pool facilitates patient care by providing basic physical care and nursing procedures, assisting with patient comfort measures and helping maintain a clean, safe and organized care environment. As a member of the Float Pool, you'll support different patient care areas based on staffing and operational needs, giving you the opportunity to work with a variety of teams and patient populations. 💼 Work Information • 🏥 Department: Central Staffing Office | Nursing Assistant Float Pool • ☀️ Shift: Days • 💼 Status: PRN • 🔄 Work Environment: Float Pool | Supports multiple patient care areas based on staffing needs • 🤝 Role Focus: Direct patient support, basic physical care, comfort measures and maintaining a safe and organized patient care environment Qualifications 🎓 Education • High School Diploma or GED required • Post-high-school specialized training preferred 📋 Experience, Licensure & Certification Candidates must meet one of the following: • Minimum of 2 years of applicable experience, OR • Valid Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license Additionally: • BLS required ⭐ Additional Requirements • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
