Sales Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties • Travel throughout Michigan to meet with healthcare professionals and conduct product demonstrations. • Host educational labs and training sessions for surgeons, fellows, and residents. • Collaborate with distributors and agents to drive product adoption and revenue growth. • Provide clinical training and technical product information to customers. • Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with regional goals. • Manage administrative responsibilities including sales reporting and inventory control. • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in healthcare environments. • Influence product approval committees and navigate the orthopedic marketplace effectively. Sales Manager Job Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of orthopedic sales experience, preferably in hip and knee replacements. • Bachelor’s degree in science or related field preferred. • Proven track record in growing sales and customer base within healthcare environments. • In-depth knowledge of orthopedic procedures and enabling technologies. • Ability to travel extensively within Michigan and reside in the territory. • Strong understanding of the sales process in hospital and ASC environments. • Experience with VAC and product approval committees. • Self-starter with excellent relationship-building and leadership skills.
