Where You’ll Work
CHI St. Vincent, a regional health network serving Arkansas, is part of CommonSpirit Health. We have served Arkansas since 1888 with a history of many firsts. Together with more than 4,500 coworkers, 1,000 medical staff, and 500 volunteers, we consistently receive praise for care advancements.
CommonSpirit Health was formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health in 2019. With our combined resources, CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities, advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable, and innovating how and where healing can happen, both inside our hospitals and out in the community.
CHI St. Vincent provides you with the same level of care you provide to others. We care about our team member well-being and offer benefits that complement and support your work/life balance.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Internal Medicine Physician, you will join our busy and established practice at the CHI St. Vincent Primary Care-LRDC location, playing a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our community. Join a team at the forefront of integrated medicine. CHI St. Vincent is part of a health network consistently recognized for excellence and ranked among the top providers by U.S. News & World Report. With recent national accolades for patient safety, clinical quality, and excellence in chronic disease management earned over the past five years, we offer a culture defined by clinical precision, technological innovation, and a commitment to superior patient outcomes.
Every day you will provide expert primary care as part of a mission-driven network committed to creating healthier communities. Our LRDC location serves as a comprehensive medical hub, providing our physicians with unparalleled diagnostic capabilities and the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of four other distinguished Internal Medicine physicians.
To be successful in this role, you will be a BC/BE Internal Medicine Physician with a passion for preventative medicine, diagnostic excellence, and a commitment to patient advocacy within a supportive and innovative environment. In your role, you will:
• Manage a diverse patient panel, maintaining a busy and productive schedule of 15–20 patients daily, providing longitudinal care for complex chronic conditions and acute wellness needs.
• Leverage our robust, onsite diagnostic ecosystem, including two MRIs, an onsite CT scanner, a full-service laboratory, and comprehensive diagnostic testing facilities.
• Utilize our specialized departmental resources, including an expansive infusion department and onsite pulmonary function testing, to streamline patient care and reduce the need for external referrals.
• Work collaboratively with a team of four experienced Internal Medicine colleagues, fostering a culture of shared clinical knowledge and professional mentorship.
• Benefit from a high-efficiency clinical workflow supported by a seasoned administrative and nursing staff, allowing you to focus on the patient-physician relationship.
• Enjoy a balanced lifestyle with a predictable clinic-only call schedule, requiring no hospital rounding and no weekend call requirements.
• Contribute to the clinic’s "High Performing" reputation and participate in the continued evolution of our primary care clinical model.
• We are offering a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and relocation assistance. This position includes retirement plans, generous CME opportunities, and the chance to build a career within a mission-driven healthcare system dedicated to excellence, clinical innovation, and physician wellness.
