Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AMTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to shoppers, store associates, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate. • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable laws. • Maintain awareness of customer traffic, deliveries, and restricted areas; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate store management and Allied Universal leadership. • Document incidents, patrols, and notable observations accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions. Minimum Requirements: • Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience. • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Possess a Level III Armed Security license in Texas only. • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Participate in industry-specific security training programs. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
