Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – CVOR Location St. Petersburg, FL Position Overview The Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) will deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This position requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes throughout the perioperative process. Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in the CVOR setting, ensuring adherence to best practices and safety protocols. • Monitor patient vital signs and conditions before, during, and after surgical procedures. • Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations, including preparation and handling of instruments. • Educate patients and their families regarding the surgical process and post-operative care. • Participate in patient assessments and contribute to care planning and implementation. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities. Qualifications • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting. • Knowledge of surgical procedures, instruments, and equipment. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
