The Overnight Janitorial Supervisor is responsible for overseeing nightly cleaning operations within a large commercial transportation facility. This position ensures custodial staff perform cleaning services safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and client standards while maintaining a clean, sanitary, and professional environment. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM 2026 Employee Benefits | Staff and Management Team Members • Supervise, train, and support overnight janitorial staff. • Assign daily tasks and monitor work performance. • Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met. • Ensure proper use of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies. • Maintain inventory of janitorial supplies and submit replenishment requests as needed. • Address employee concerns and assist with scheduling and staffing needs. • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations. • Complete shift reports, inspections, and required documentation. • Respond to operational issues and resolve cleaning-related concerns promptly. • Coordinate with management to ensure service expectations are achieved. • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience required. • Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred. • Knowledge of commercial cleaning methods, equipment, and safety practices. • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management. • Strong organizational and leadership skills. • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions. • Basic computer skills for reporting and recordkeeping. Physical Requirements • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds. • Ability to work in large commercial facilities. • Ability to operate janitorial equipment and machinery safely.
