Position Summary: Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment: Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Essential Duties: • Controls incoming and outgoing material for BCR and BCC on a daily basis. This currently includes operating supplies, raw forgings, machined wheels finished wheels and incoming scrap. Items are physically received, verified, and then entered into Oracle. • Loads and unloads incoming and outgoing wheels, verifies against BOL, and enters information into oracle. • Confirms and reports daily inventory . • responsible for receiving in other items that need to go to the tool crib. • Ensures organization of shipping dock • Performs 5S activities • Support production activities • Other tasks may be assigned as needed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • High School level reading and math Will spend the majority of time on the production floor with some additional clerical responsibilities.
