POSITION TITLE; Documentation Detailer 2 REPORTS TO: Dept. Supervisor SCOPE OF AUTHORITY: No Direct Reports or Budgetary Responsibilities PRIMARY PURPOSE: Under the general direction of the supervisor and/or car line leader, creates and revises LD files, ensures the timely delivery of the department's deliverables and attends as well as participates in team meetings/initiatives. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Creates and modifies LD components and assembly files utilizing mark ups and creation manual. • Creates and modifies LD process flow charts. • Monitors deliverables and ensures a timely and quality delivery. • Prints and plots drawings for DCD meetings. QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM REQUIRED: • CAD and/or Drafting (high school course or equivalent) or related work experience. • Moderate level of communication/Must be able to take written and verbal direction. • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and basic PC functions. PREFERRED: • The minimum requirements; in addition to the listed items. • Training in TDM's current CAD platform. • Basic knowledge of LD files and DCD standards and practices. • Basic knowledge of vehicle assembly process flows.
