Subsidiary OmniSource Overview Perform maintenance on mobile and stationary equipment. Lead/Assist in any duties required. All duties assigned by the supervisor/lead are to be performed in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities (Text Only) - Change truck & trailer tires, make brake adjustments, and fix lights. - Perform preventative/corrective maintenance on truck & trailers. - Maintain complete and accurate maintenance documentation. - Operate forklift, ability to drive Truck and Trailer. - Follow good housekeeping standards. - Make recommendations for process system improvements. - Knowledge of industrial safety and OSHA guidelines. - All other tasks as assigned. Qualifications • (Preferred) Minimum of two years experience with general knowledge of DOT truck maintenance requirements. • A clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations. • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more consistently. • Safety Minded • Ability to work in all types of weather conditions. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Must be highly self-motivated. • Team player dedicated to the organization • Valid Drivers License Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
