In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of electrical and control activities for complex multidisciplinary machines, from early-stage development and prototypes through integration, productization, and production support.
You will work closely with mechanical, software, systems, and other engineering disciplines, combining strong electrical design capabilities with hands-on PLC, integration, and troubleshooting experience.
What you will do
• Lead electrical and control design activities from concept through product implementation.
• Develop, program, debug, and integrate PLC sequences, I/O, and motion control for lab setups, prototypes, and production machines.
• Design electrical cabinets, cabling, and system connectivity, including component selection, cable routing, and integration.
• Perform hands-on electrical integration, testing, troubleshooting, and modifications of machines and R&D platforms.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support the transfer of new designs from R&D to production and provide ongoing engineering support for prototypes and medium-volume production machines.
• Manage and work closely with subcontractors, electrical cabinet manufacturers, and suppliers.
What you bring
• B.Sc. in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 7+ years of electrical engineering experience, with a strong background in the design and development of multidisciplinary machinery.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end electrical engineering activities in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming, I/O, and motion control.
• Experience in electrical cabinet and cable design, including proficiency with relevant electrical CAD tools.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring practices, and standards.
• Demonstrated integration experience, from early prototypes through product release.
• Experience with transfer to production and production support.
• Experience working with subcontractors, manufacturers, and suppliers.
• High level of English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with inkjet machinery is an advantage.
• Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards such as SEMI, UL, and CE is an advantage.
• Electrical license is an advantage.
