Job Title: Substation Engineer Job Description Lead engineering and design activities for new and modified high-voltage substation projects. Responsible for developing substation design packages, engineering calculations, client interaction, proposal support, field inspections, project execution, and mentoring junior engineers. Lead projects from concept through construction. Essential Skills • 7+ years of experience in substation engineering. • Proficiency in physical substation design. • Experience with high voltage substations and power delivery. • Proven utility experience and client-facing skills. • Expertise in protection and controls. • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in utility consulting. • Ability to lead design projects and manage project execution. • Strong project leadership skills. • Experience in proposal development. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $95.00/hr.
