SAP Service Management (SM) Consultant Experience: 5–10 Years Key Responsibilities Provide functional support and configuration for SAP Service Management (SM) processes. Manage end-to-end processes covering service notifications, service orders, repairs, warranties, service contracts, and service billing. Configure and support service order types, notification types, status profiles, partner determination, pricing, and billing processes. Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions. Troubleshoot production incidents, identify root causes, and provide timely resolution. Handle change requests, enhancements, configuration changes, testing, and deployment. Prepare functional specifications for developments, interfaces, reports, enhancements, and forms. Coordinate with ABAP, Basis, Security, Integration, and other functional teams for issue resolution and enhancements. Support integration of SAP SM with relevant modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, PM/CS and CRM, depending on the landscape. Perform unit testing, integration testing, regression testing and UAT support. Support master data and transactional data-related issues. Prepare and maintain SOPs, functional documentation, configuration documents and knowledge-transfer documents. Participate in incient, problem and change management processes within agreed SLAs. Work directly with business users to understand issues and recommend appropriate solutions. Required Skills Strong hands-on experience in SAP Service Management / Customer Service processes. Good understanding of: Service Notifications Service Orders Repair Processing Service Contracts Warranty Management Equipment and Functional Locations Installed Base / Technical Objects Service Pricing and Billing Resource and Material Planning Strong understanding of integration with SAP SD, MM, FI/CO and PM/CS. Experience in SAP configuration and functional troubleshooting. Ability to prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams. Experience working in AMS/support and/or implementation projects. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
