• Typically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; twelve or more years of experience with a bachelors degree, ten or more years of experience with a masters degree, or seven or more years with a PhD. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education. • Must have experience developing CONOPS, working closely with operators/users or user surrogates to identify system solutions. • Must have experience with modeling tools such as Cameo, MagicDraw, or Enterprise Architect. • Desired experience developing models with SysML • Must have experience developing comprehensive system architectures with modeling tools, enforcing compliance to and configuration management of architecture models • Must have experience developing/deriving Use Cases • Must have experience developing/deriving requirements from Use Cases and System Architecture. • Must be capable of clearly communicating design and requirements to software/hardware teams for software/hardware implementation. • Must have subject matter experience in a relevant technology. • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance is required.
