This is a PRN, as-needed position for someone with flexible availability who is willing to pick up shifts when coverage is needed, including weekends and holidays. Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): • Provide one-on-one assistance, companionship, and meaningful interaction with residents. • Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, personal hygiene, and mobility, according to individual resident service plans. • Encourage resident independence while providing appropriate support and assistance. • Assist residents with attending meals and activities and encourage participation in community programs. • Observe and promptly report changes in residents' condition, behavior, or needs to the Resident Services Director. • Assist residents with self-administration of medications in accordance with facility policies and complete required documentation accurately. • Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established facility procedures. • Complete assigned housekeeping duties, including making beds, emptying trash, cleaning resident and common areas, laundry, and mopping bathroom floors. • Maintain accurate shift documentation and communicate important information to the incoming team. • Work collaboratively and professionally with residents, families, and coworkers. • Follow through on assigned responsibilities and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to help others.
