Job Title: Parts Counter Sales Associate Location: Chicago, IL (60641) Pay: Up to $29.00/HR - Based on experience Schedule: Full Time Benefits & Perks • Union shop representation and job security • Company-paid health insurance and pension • Paid Time Off (PTO) and employee discounts • 401(k) plan • Clear career path with opportunities for growth What You’ll Do • Help customers and service technicians find the right parts and accessories with accuracy and efficiency • Answer questions and offer guidance on basic vehicle maintenance and repairs • Keep inventory organized by stocking, tracking, and fulfilling orders through our systems • Handle transactions and phone inquiries with professionalism and attention to detail • Work closely with the service department to ensure parts are ordered and delivered on time • Contribute to sales goals through strong product knowledge and customer service • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace Qualifications • Prior experience working with parts in a dealership setting, required • Solid understanding of automotive systems, vehicle maintenance, and repair processes • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to customers and team members • Comfortable using inventory management systems, POS platforms, and basic retail math • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially in stock control and order accuracy • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional approach • Valid driver’s license, highly preferred Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
