Job Details: Job Location: KT-Knoxville Area Command - Knoxville, TN, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Category: Housing, Supervises and participates in performing the day-to-day activities necessary for the smooth operation of a residential program providing housing, food, and a safe environment; assists in assessing and instructing clients participating in the residential program; ensures that paperwork is completed, and all clients follow facility rules; ensures compliance with The Salvation Army policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supervises and schedules shelter monitors; trains and instructs staff in the appropriate methods for performing work. Inspects work in progress and upon completion to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Conducts performance evaluations.  Monitors and enforces the behavior and residential requirements of clients. Supervises and monitors the access of the facility and maintains safety guidelines for clients. Monitors all entrances to the facility to ensure compliance with safety and city codes. And two year’s experience working in a social service office environment or a similar resident or recovery program, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
