Additional training is provided where needed. Some responsibilities could include: • Providing wound care and monitoring wound healing • Managing medications and administering treatments according to provider orders and facility protocols • Providing care for patients with percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tubes and related feeding needs, as applicable • Administering infusions and monitoring patients for responses or complications • Performing lab draws and collecting specimens as ordered • Conducting nursing assessments and monitoring clients conditions • Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation • Performing other nursing duties as assigned within the scope of practice Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (LPN) license in South Dakota or eligibility for licensure through reciprocity or multistate privileges, as applicable • Must be at least 18 years of age • Previous LPN experience required – 1000 hours worked • Current CPR certification required; on-site CPR certification is available for qualified candidates • Must maintain all required certifications, qualifications, and professional standards • Ability to provide compassionate, professional nursing care in a variety of home settings Equal Employment Opportunity We are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
