The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, ensuring an exceptional service experience from vehicle check-in through delivery. Responsibilities • Greet customers promptly and professionally. • Listen to customer concerns and accurately document repair orders. • Recommend maintenance and repair services based on vehicle needs. • Communicate repair recommendations, costs, and timelines to customers. • Coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and timely completion of repairs. • Provide customers with regular updates regarding vehicle status. • Review completed repairs and explain services performed at vehicle pick-up. • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and build long-term customer relationships. • Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional manner. • Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with dealership policies. Qualifications • Previous automotive service advisor experience preferred. • Strong customer service and communication skills. • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. • Basic automotive knowledge and understanding of vehicle maintenance and repairs. • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. • Professional appearance and demeanor. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Proficiency with dealership management systems is a plus.
