The Village at Rockville is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to join our nursing team on the full-time night shift. This is an opportunity for an RN who enjoys being a hands-on clinical leader, supporting fellow nursing professionals, and helping ensure residents receive exceptional, individualized care. What You’ll Do • Lead, support, and mentor the nursing team during the night shift • Help ensure residents consistently receive high-quality nursing care • Coordinate individualized plans of care and participate in care conferences • Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges • Monitor changes in resident conditions and ensure appropriate documentation and follow-up • Support medication administration and clinical documentation standards • Coordinate staffing assignments based on resident needs • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals • Participate in direct resident care, including medication administration and health assessments, as needed • Help ensure compliance with safety requirements, healthcare regulations, and community policies What You Bring • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • 2–3 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or nursing home setting strongly preferred • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to nursing homes and long-term care • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills • Sound clinical judgment and the ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations • Proficiency with electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office applications Benefits That Support You We want the people who care for others to feel cared for themselves.
