Job Description As a Security Officer Retail Patrol Driver in Stamford, CT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.94 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon10:00 AM - 06:00 PMTue10:00 AM - 06:00 PMFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSat08:00 AM - 04:00 PMSun08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or mall personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. • Monitor access points, observe activity within the retail location, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures. • Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. • Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately; maintain professional communication with clients, visitors, retailers, and Allied Universal leadership. Minimum Requirements: • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
