As Michigan’s premier fabricator and installer of granite, marble, and quartz, we are known for unmatched quality, cutting-edge fabrication, and a relentless focus on customer service THE ROLE Complete install services, complete paperwork daily in an efficient safe manor, including installation, deliveries, warranty service call on a daily basis and ensures quality meets and or exceeds Lakeside Surfaces quality standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Assume all responsibility of product being transported on the delivery truck • Abide by all company policies and state laws while operating company vehicles • Maintain effective communication to ensure install efficiency and quality • Ensure all cargo on truck is 100% secured at all times • Train and mentor assistant level installers • Resolve issues and make judgment calls on site efficiently • Efficient job knowledge • Control and organize a work site efficiently • Responsible for ensuring all physical paperwork/Moraware activities are updated and accurate for each install, delivery, or warranty service call • Keep a calm professional mindset at all times • Read and understand all paperwork for installs, deliveries, and warranty service calls • Ability to recognize problems and concerns in the department MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS • 1 year experience installing countertops or equivalent residential construction experience • Maintain a clean driving record to be insurable on Lakeside’s fleet vehicle insurance • Maintain a valid chauffeurs license and DOT medical card as is required to drive commercial vehicles PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • Ability to carry substantial parts on varied surfaces • Ability to lift up to 250 lbs. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks • Ability to follow all safety requirements WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be presentable and professional in all work environments as follows: • Lakeside distribution center • Vendors and suppliers • Roadways and stops leading to and from all work related activities • Jobsites • Meeting and training centers Our Culture: At Lakeside, We Have GRIT We hire, lead, and grow through our values: G – Go the Extra Mile ● Be relentless in solving challenges ● Stay curious and always seek a better way ● Bring energy, drive, and passion to everything you do R – Reliably Serve Others ● Listen, care, and respond with empathy ● Prioritize people and deliver seamless experiences ● Exceed expectations with every customer interaction I – Inspire Trust ● Be honest, open, and accountable ● Follow through on commitments, big or small ● Take ownership of your work and its impact T – Team Above Self ● Collaborate, support, and celebrate one another ● Leave ego at the door ● Lead with humility and prioritize team success
