As our Guest Services Associate, you’re the first person guests and students meet when they walk through our doors. You set the tone for a warm, positive experience from the very first hello. You love working with people and you’re organized and detail-oriented. You stay calm and confident while balancing guest service, administrative tasks, and a busy front desk. What You’ll Do • Welcome. Greet every guest warmly and professionally. • Book. Answer phones and help schedule appointments. • Check in and out. Check guests in and out and process payments accurately. • Communicate. Manage front-desk communications with friendly, attentive service. • Keep the space inviting. Help keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming. • Keep the day on track. Monitor the daily schedule and help services run smoothly. • Recommend. Help guests find the right retail products and complete their purchases. • Represent. Represent Douglas J Institutes with professionalism and positive energy. Requirements What You Bring • Experience in customer service, reception, front desk, salon, spa, or hospitality (preferred) • Clear, friendly communication and strong people skills • A warm, approachable, professional presence • Strong organization and the ability to juggle multiple priorities • Comfort with computers, phones, scheduling systems, and basic office software • Reliability and punctuality your team can count on Your Schedule This role requires open availability for day, mid, and night shifts, plus some Saturdays until 5 p.m. The best part? Douglas J Institute - Royal Oak is closed every Sunday, so your weekends always start with a guaranteed day off.
