Description Transwest is seeking a Cashier at our Denver, CO location. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a professional, customer service oriented attitude and exhibit a friendly, poised demeanor through first line of contact with the public and our employees. The Cashier will be responsible for a wide variety of clerical tasks. Requirements WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES: • Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time. • Ability to lift up to 20Ibs. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. • Ability to communicate by providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. • Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer. • Normal range of hearing and vision. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid Driver’s License with a MVR in good standing. • Superior communication skills both in person and over the phone. • 1+ year of solid administrative experience. • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel. • Cashier experience is a plus. • Automotive/truck dealership experience is a plus. • Ability to effectively communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus. • Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass a post-offer background check, physical and drug screening.
