The Digital Client Experience teams in Asset Management provide clients with innovative and customer-centered financial products to drive transformative changes. We bring the best qualities of a technology player and combine that with the best attributes of a large bank. Our Digital teams comprise of three main businesses, underpinned by engineering, product operations, security and risk management: • Mosaic, an end-to-end open architecture technology platform and a digital product that provides trading, settlement, analytics, and reporting solutions to global liquidity clients. • AM.gs.com: GSAM is the asset management arm of Goldman Sachs, which supervises more than $1.8 trillion in assets. Goldman Sachs Asset Management has been providing discretionary investment advisory services since 1988 and has investment professionals in all major financial centers around the world. • Advisor Portal: An external Advisor Portal is a key component of SMA expansion program. The aim of this portal is to provide all-digital, best in class experience to Advisors such as advisor onboarding, application for new SMAs, track accounts status, access advisor tools etc. We are looking for engineers who can drive a whole feature from design to execution, as well as engineers who can deep dive why an API is taking half a second longer than it should. Our team has a large variety of problems to tackle across the entire stack. JOB DUTIES • Manage high-risk, complex technology projects from initiation to implementation across multiple divisions using effective planning, project governance, communication, and risk management strategies. • Perform detailed business and technology impact analysis; develop and execute test plans spanning across multiple systems and business lines. • Form strong partnerships with global business counterparts to solicit business requirements and implement strategic technology solutions and ensure continuous delivery of product features • Business requirements writing using Confluence, Coordinating and tracking all projects for seamless releases using Project Management tools such as JIRA, Source Code Management System SVN and Document Management System SharePoint • Manage Mosaic Portal product delivery streams between business stakeholders and actual developers which includes data analysis and translating business requirements to technical requirements • Proactively evaluate emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning tools to redesign existing processes, reduce cycle times, and maximize operational efficiency. • Experience with software development methodologies and practices such as agile, waterfall etc. • Strong SQL skills in relational databases as well as familiarity with MongoDB. • Facilitate sprint planning, sprint poker, daily scrums, retrospectives, stakeholder meetings, and software demonstrations. • Educate and reinforce scrum methodology and agile framework to team members and key stakeholders. • Communicate and escalate issues to senior stakeholders. • Provide supervision, guidance, and mentoring to other junior professional staff. MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/DEGREE AND FIELD Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field. MINIMUM YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Must have two (2) years of experience (if Master’s) or five (5) years of experience (if Bachelor’s) in the job offered or in a related position. SPECIAL SKILLS AND/OR LICENSES REQUIRED TO PERFORM THE JOB Must have two (2) years of experience (if Master’s) or five (5) years of experience (if Bachelor’s) with each of the following: • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including business analysis, design, modeling, UAT testing and support • Ability to write queries in relational and NoSQL databases. • Using JIRA, Confluence, and Sharepoint toolsets • Running scrums and working with Agile methodology across various facets of the project. • Communicating complex technical concepts in a simple manner to various stakeholders. • Working in the financial services industry, with focus on Sales, Shareholder Services and Liquidity Portal within Asset Management.
