The NDT Level III/Inspection Specialist conducts training of production employees in various methods of NDT inspection of Oil & Gas tubular products. They shall be familiar with quality management systems (QMS) and will perform audits of the same. Must be able to travel globally. Reports to QTS Quality/Technical Services Manager, Western Hemisphere. Responsibilities: • Familiarity with inspection of Tubing, Casing, Drill Pipe and Bottom Hole Assembly equipment. • Familiarity with API 5B, API 7-2 and/or proprietary threads • Conduct classroom and practical training in multiple methods/techniques • Perform internal QMS, Process, 5S and Radiation Safety audits • Interact with Engineering on new equipment design, acceptance • Evaluate equipment to meet industry requirements Qualifications/Requirements: • Minimum of 10 years as an ASNT NDT Level III in MT, UT and PT • Minimum of 10 years as an ASNT NDT Level II in MT, UT (shear wave and thickness) and PT will also be considered. • High school diploma or GED required • Hold an auditing credential • Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to effectively train others • Approximately 25-30% domestic/foreign travel required • Excellent computer literacy • Knowledge of Industry Standards such as API, ASNT, ASTM, DS-1 and NS1/2 • Bi-lingual English-Spanish a plus
