Required: • Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust requiring U.S. Citizenship • Proven hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper network technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls. • Advanced proficiency in network protocols, including ACLs and DHCP/DNS management. • Experience with Infoblox IPAM for DNS and DHCP administration. • Familiarity with Cisco ISE for authentication and access control. • Expertise in monitoring and troubleshooting network performance with tools like SolarWinds, Splunk, and Netcool. • Ability to interface with carriers/vendors and foster collaboration during incident resolution processes. • Strong understanding of data center best practices and physical infrastructure, including power and cooling systems. • Proficient in deploying, configuring, and managing Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, and IPAM) solutions to streamline network core services and enhance operational efficiency. • Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing Infoblox appliances, including grid implementations, high availability setups, and system upgrades to ensure seamless network management. • Experienced in integrating Infoblox solutions with security and cloud platforms, implementing DNS Security Extensions (DNSSEC), and leveraging RESTful APIs for automation and scalability. Preferred: • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or JNCIA/JNCIS. • Familiarity with or experience in FDIC-specific systems or equivalent experience in government or financial institutions. • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to provide detailed root cause analysis. • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and network segmentation strategies. • Prior experience managing and responding to major network incidents.
